Hi everyone. Long time no speak.
Just wanted to drop a line to everyone that I'm moving to take a managing editor's position at a paper in western Maine. Not the best time of year to
be moving to a state that probably belongs more in Canada than the U.S., but I've never been one to look a gift horse in the mouth. Pay is better, cost of
living is equal except the heating costs (offset in the summer by lack of need for air conditioning) and I'll get to work days!!! That means I don't
have to pay nannies to raise my son anymore while I work nights.
Best part is I'll still get to write sports on occasion because the sports department is lacking there ... at least until I get it turned around.
Anywho, I just wanted to say goodbye to all y'all and thank you for your support over the past few years. Some of you have become good friends and I will
miss you.
