As more and more numbers are released from enrollments.... the picture can come SOMEWHAT more clear with alignment. But....as we all know, this is all
notthing more than speculation. Based on info given THUS FAR..... here is what we are looking at......
Henderson will be dropping to 3A
Paris will be dropping to 3A
North Lamar and Lindale will be on the bubble to dropping to 3A
Mabank could be moving up to 4A..... as will Royse City
With this informaton.....we can take a stab at some possible scenarios.
If they were to go to a more EAST/WEST alignment....we could see this
DISTRICT A: Texarkana, Marshall, Longview, Nacogdoches, Pine Tree, Hallsville, Kilgore (WOW!!!!!)
DISTRICT B: Jacksonville, Whitehouse, Mt. Pleasant, North Lamar, Sulphur SPrings, Lindale, Mabank
If they go for a more NORTH/SOUTH alignment....using I-20 as the cutoff in most cases.... it could look something like this.....
DISTRICT A: Texarkana, Mt. Pleasant, Sulphur Sptings, Marshall, Longview, Pine Tree, Hallsville (OUCH STILL)
DISTRICT B: Jacksonville, Whitehouse, Nacogdoches, Kilgore, Lindale, MaBank (North Lamar would align the metroplex)
Royse City will most likely be alinged with Dallas-area either way.
