I thought the Kilgore game would be a big test for the Mavericks. They pass that test and now another. Neville, what I have read in the Monroe paper online,
has a great defense. The QB is good as well. Coach Haris said on his radio show last night on KMHT that Neville is a lot like Kilgore in there attack. Strong
defense, likes to pound the ball up the middle on offense, but with will throw more than a Kilgore team. Good news I think I heard on the radio show is that
J.C. Haigwood and K.D. Johnson should be back in the Mavericks offensive line up. They both saw limited action in th win over Kilgore.
How does everyone see this game Friday night at Maverick Stadium? Have you noticed the new letters on the front of the stadium can be seen from Hwy. 59? Nice touch to the stadium. |
