As the Mavs tried to get back on track Friday night against SS I had hoped, as many others I am
sure, that Marshall would have a new game plan on O and D. NOT! Same old thing on O, run until QB and RB get demolished and taken out of the game and then
expect other QB's and WR's to bail the Mavs out. NOT! The Mavs did have a slightly different look on defense but were not prepared to fully implement a
different defensive package to help out against SS arial assault. Rollison made it look easy. The 36 points that we scored made it a little easier to swallow
but really is not a true picture of how poorly the Mavs were prepared. That is on the coaching staff and NOT the boys. It is time that coaches on this staff
take a good look in the mirror. Every team the Mavs have faced has been well coached and prepared. They look relaxed and motivated while Marshall looks
confused and unsure every time a play comes from the sideline! Confusion like that bleeds down from the top.
The Mavs have plenty of talent on this team and it is a shame that it is being wasted due to the tunnel vision of the coaching staff and their inability to see
what is going wrong while letting every team the Mavs have faced exploit the very same weaknesses!
