The Marshall broadcast has gotten better each week this year. Jamie Horton and Mike Midkiff are starting to come together and do a nice job in their first season working together. I really enjoyed the halftime interview last week with Marshall Assistand AD, Brent Sipes. He was very informative about field turf, and it sounds like Marshall has one of the best turfs in the area. Some schools are already on their second turf after about 3-4 years of use, and Marshall expects to get atleast 12-14 years out of theirs.
I have also listened to the Harleton broadcast this year and let me tell you, thats a hard one to follow. Those guys struggle to get you the plays. I know on one drive it went kinda like this.... Harleton takes the ball on their forty, and ummmm, welllll, he uhhhhhh, OHHHHHH, welll ummm now the Wildcats are in punt formation. I did laugh quite a bit during the broadcast, but wasnt really sure what was going on down on the field.
