Yeah it was on the radio. Too many errors for the Mavs. Three on one play. Bayliss had a throwing error over to first, then Hood runs it down and throws it to
home where the ball gets past Gobert, then he throws it wild to 2nd. Not saying that one play cost the Mavs the game but you cant have that many errors in a
gme and expect to win. Gotta get it turned around before it gets out of hand. Heres the link to the MNM article....

Mavs take on Kilgore (one of the BIGGEST baseball rivalies in the district) on Tuesday April 1st. This will be a critical game for the district standings. This
is also be the first of two MYBA youth appreciation nights at Mavrick Field.
On Tuesday April 8th the Mavs take on Pine Tree on Maverick Field. These two teams played to a 1-0 game in the second district game earlier this season. Sounds
like P.T. has improved since then. They gave Nac thier only district lose last week. This is also a MYBA appreciation night. All children dressed in their MYBA
uniforms will get in free.
Then on Friday April 11th, Hallsville comes to town. Hallsville handed Marshall their first district lose this year 7-0. This will be Lil' Mav Nite. All
youth that want to be recognized with their favorite Maverick player need to contact either a booster club member or the player themselves. Need to get to this
game early for the ceremony.
Finally on April 18th Nacogdoches swings into town. Nac gave the Mavs their other lose in district. Nac and Marshall seem to always play each other tough no
matter what the score winds up. This will be Senior Nite at Maverick Field. All senior players will be recognized with their parent(s) or guardian(s). Need to
get to this game early for the ceremony.
Marshall has to travel on Friday April 4th to Jacksonville, Tues. April 15th to Henderson, Tues. April 22 to Whitehouse, and end the regular district schedule
in Kilgore Fri. April 25th. If you can make any of these out of town games to root on the Mavs, I know they would appreciate it.
Stick around after the games and tell the Mavs you support them and watch the smiles on their faces.
